Comments and Offers

Our first guests only arrived on 14th June 2008. So it will be a while before we have any feedback about Aultbeithe. However, our first three months in the house, from mid-March until early June, were enough to confirm that Dalbeg is a truly magical place. The colours in the hills and the sky change by the minute. The loch is a constant source of fascination - mallards, gulls and a solitary cormorant are in almost constant residence, and the water lillies wer just coming into flower as we left. We inherited four very tame geese with the house - feeding them is a great way to spend ten or fifteen minutes. By late April, four had become eight with the arrival of four goslings! And a two-minute walk takes you to the beach and some really amazing crashing waves. The whole thing takes your breath away!
